The Manager, Food and Beverage, is responsible for delivering the highest quality food and beverage service and conference experiences. This role rounds out a leadership team of three Food and Beverage Managers responsible for our base lodges, restaurants & bars, and banquet operations. While focus is on leading banquet operations, the incumbent will provide leadership in all day-to-day food and beverage operations. This includes both indoor and outdoor venues, restaurant, and bar outlets, as well as group conferences in our event spaces.

Coach and mentor employees to unite them around purpose and fun by creating a culture of productivity, high quality, accuracy, and revolutionary service experiences for our guests.
Select passionate and talented people and execute onboarding, training and development that enables each employee to provide revolutionary guest experiences.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned outlet with a focus on Banquet Operations, providing direction to supervisors and front of house staff and ensuring speed and quality of service from the kitchen.
Prepare and monitor annual, monthly, and daily budgets of your home business unit, review labour and expense performance to ensure financial goals are achieved. Responsible for all aspects of the product and service supply purchase cycle within your operation.
Oversee loss prevention and inventory count activities to minimize shrink, specifically for liquor, wine, beer and confections.
In collaboration with Director, F&B Services and Marketing coordinate the marketing of assigned business unit with promotions that will drive engagement and new business.
Coordinate food presentations and tasting reviews with leadership team.
In collaboration with Director, Culinary and Director F&B Services, participate in seasonal and special event menu development, including draft menu creation, editing, and employee training. Act as wine consultant for Conference and Banquet Services; Provide wine consultation to Conference Event Managers for wine pairing events.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED FROM ME?
College or University level training in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years supervisory or management experience in Food Services, preferably Banquet Operations
Proven success in leading sound fiscal management in a food service setting.
Formal leadership training would be an asset.
Previous full-service bar management/bar & liquor control and in-depth knowledge of wines.
Accomplished skills in kitchen expedition in a high-volume restaurant an asset
