MEDICAL DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING TECHNOLOGIST

Canadian Health Labs (CHL) is a national healthcare solutions provider contracted to provide healthcare services for various public and private sector organizations throughout Canada. This is an opportunity to contribute to keeping Canadians safe and healthy while getting to explore new locations across our beautiful country.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform various diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment to provide high-quality images and accurate results.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure proper interpretation of images.
- Maintain detailed patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
- Travel to different healthcare facilities within Canada based on assignment schedules.
- Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a high level of professionalism.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Radiography program.
- Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is required.
- Additional certifications in specific modalities such as MRI, CT, or ultrasound will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Diagnostic Imaging Technologist.
- Strong understanding of imaging equipment, techniques, and protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to different work environments and travel extensively across Canada.
- Valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
