Kingsway Towing provides emergency service for the general public including towing, recoveries, tire changes, vehicle and equipment boosts, and traffic control. We also service several auto clubs, roadside assistance programs, and contracts within the city which keep us busy year-round!
We are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated, goal-oriented candidates which can offer great customer service. High performance is expected, achieved, and rewarded at Kingsway Towing and our goal is to provide the best customer experience possible!
Key Responsibilities: Driving and operating a service one-ton, flat deck or 3 ton for loading/towing vehicles. Responding to various calls such as basic tows, recoveries, police calls, roadblocks, accidents, and jump starts. Communicate with dispatch, customers, and service providers in a courteous and respectful manner. Provide the best possible customer service to all. Load/unload vehicles from various equipment. This may include the use of chains, winch, wheel lift, dollies and other equipment. Use of company issued tablet to complete jobs and provide information to the office.
Complete daily paperwork as required. Complete routine maintenance on equipment and daily inspections of the equipment you are operating, replacing fluids, fueling, and greasing.
Qualifications: communicate effectively and professionally while consistently providing our customers with professional and outstanding service. Be able to prioritize and multitask and remain flexible in continually changing situations. Valid class 1, 3 or 5 driver’s license and or Air endorsement (NON GDL) and a Criminal Records Check. Strong attention to detail. Mechanical knowledge would be an asset. Working Conditions: Must be able to work various shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. Regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to manipulate, handle or feel; reach with hands or arms; also required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to lift up to 80 pounds. Must be able to work in inclement weather.
