Active registration with ARDMS, CMRTO, Sonography Canada
Graduate of CMA accredited school of Ultrasonography
Must be familiar with quality management, quality control
Computer skills required with PACS experience
Additional certification as RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) preferred
Satisfactory attendance and positive attitude

ACCOUNTABILITIES (Major Responsibilities of the Position)

Under general direction of the Charge Technologist, Diagnostic Imaging Manager or Medical Director,
The Sonographer is responsible for accurately and efficiently performing routine imaging with a high degree of optimization
Operate instruments as designed precisely and safely
Provide supporting history and documentation for the Radiologist.
Perform troubleshooting when necessary
Work and travel between Chatham and Wallaceburg sites
Participates in departmental continuing education
Assist Radiologist during Biopsy procedures
