We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team and support the organization while providing oversight of projects within our organization.
Job Description
- Support project coordination and management
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding project needs and objectives
- Contribute to project planning and development
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure projects are completed on time
- Perform administrative tasks such as preparing project updates, developing business cases and scheduling meetings
- Work with different teams and stakeholders to monitor the progress of projects and ensure they are completed on time and on budget
- Research information to help other teams and departments as needed
- Monitor project progress and report
- Perform all tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the project manager in an orderly and efficient manner
Requirements and skills
- Relevant training and/or certifications as an assistant project manager
- Professional experience as an assistant project manager or in a similar function
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management software
- Be organized, be able to carry out several simultaneous tasks and supervise several projects simultaneously
- Have an eye for detail and an ability to solve problems
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
