Monkman Transport is looking for a Driver to join our team in Winnipeg, MB.

Summary:
The driver is responsible for transporting freight to and from customer locations on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional with a positive attitude who will work well as part of a team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of shipments (i.e. weight, delivery time, etc.)
- Participate in vehicle maintenance routine and routine vehicle inspections (i.e. tire pressure, vehicle inspection, etc.)
- Perform pre-trip inspections (i.e. counting loads, verifying delivery status)
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance (i.e. cleaning windows, etc.)
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations including but not limited to driving direction, speed, creation of lane lines, crossing roads, etc.
- Maintain a safe and courteous driving environment
