Hi-Beam Group is looking to hire a Project Manager to join our growing team for our upcoming projects.
Job Description:
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, manage client expectations and maintain an open line of communication for the full project cycle
- Manage pre-construction consultants, certified professionals and sub-contractors on behalf of the client
- Develops and maintains the construction schedule in conjunction with project team to meet milestones and completion dates
- Develop and implement the project safety plan and leads by example for health and safety practices and procedures
- Create the Project Quality Program to ensure project materials are supplied and work is completed accordingly
- Identifies and manages risk and opportunities on construction projects
- Maintains, tracks and reports all financial aspects of project including forecasts and billings
- Ensures that projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings and applicable building codes and that quality standards are maintained
- Leads project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and support the projects ongoing progression
Qualifications:
- 7+ Years of experience in the construction industry. Specifically with Drywall and Steel Stud Framing
- Knowledge of Building Code and High-Quality Building Standards
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, costs, budgets and current construction practices and methodology
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, understand and interpret stakeholders needs
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
- Ability to identify and manage risk and opportunities on construction projects
- Ability to determine a problem’s root causes, identify short and long term solutions, anticipate patterns and look beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications
- Capable of anticipating constructability issues in moderate to complex situations and creating new solutions in the construction plan & schedule
- Strong negotiation skills; ability to influence and persuade others to reach consensus
