Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders and prepare a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely delivery of drinks and addressing any customer concerns or requests
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service to customers
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
- Knowledge of cashiering procedures and cash handling
- Familiarity with food service regulations and food handling practices
- Strong math skills for accurately calculating bills, making change, and handling cash transactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate drink preparation and order fulfillment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (e.g., kegs)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
