General Labour /Warehouse (P/T-leading to F/T)
Who we are and what we do:
Waterloo Mattress is a local, family-owned manufacturer/retailer, specializing in the design and manufacture of mattress and sleep products for use in the healthcare, residential and hospitality market.
Who we are looking for:
An enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our warehouse / production team.
- MUST BE AVAILABLE MONDAY-FRIDAY BETWEEN 9:00AM – 5:00PM – NO EVENING / WEEKNED SHIFT AVAILABLE
- Mattress production experience is an asset, but not required - we are happy to train the right candidate
- Must be able to communicate effectively ( verbal and written)
- Must be versatile and willing to learn
- Must bring a positive attitude
- MUST HAVE VALID G LICENSE WITH CLEAN DRIVING ABSTRACT AS SOME DELIVERY DRIVING WILL BE REQUIRED
- Must show initiative and work well independently as well as within a team environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
What you'll be doing:
- Measurement
- Pattern production
- Mattress assembly
- Material cutting
- Silk screening
- Packaging
- Deliveries as required
- Loading and unloading materials
- General warehouse maintenance and organization
- Various tasks as assigned
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
