Responsibilities:
- Specializing in new Roofing and Re-Roofing and Maintenance & Construction industry
- Attend new Roofing and Re-Roofing tender site meetings
- Meet with building owners to provide re-roofing proposals
- Accurately measure and determine existing roof conditions
- Maintain existing and build relationships with new clients
- Prepare estimates and accurately fill out tender documents
- Follow up with clients
- Prepare work orders and complete customer paperwork
- Prepare and give instructions to superintendents and roofing foremen
- Prepare and give sales presentations
- Order materials and supplies as required
Qualifications:
- 1-2 + years of solid Project Mgr. & Roofing estimating experience. Must have knowledge of various roofing systems: EPDM, TPO, PVC. SBS, BUR etc.
- Ability to read and understand specifications and tender documents
- Must be personable, customer focused and be able to present yourself in a professional manner
- Proficient in MS Office and Excel based programs.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Must be a self-motivated person
- Physically able to set up ladders and access roofs
- Good knowledge of various commercial roofing systems
- Valid Drivers license
Education:
Red Seal Journeyman/Journeywoman Commercial Roofing/Diploma in Architectural & Building Technology/Bachelors in Construction Project Mgt. /Construction Estimating/Architectural Industrial Drafting/ Building Construction Technology.
