We are looking for a dependable, team player, that is organized, with excellent written/oral communication skills. You will be responsible for set-up, operation, and general maintenance of a machine, used to fabricate laminates, papers and films. Additional responsibilities will include quality control, completing work order paperwork, and keeping your work area clean and organized. Experience as an operator is an asset, but not mandatory (training will be provided). This position is for our afternoon shift; Monday-Friday (3:00pm-11:30pm).
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machines used in the production process
- Set up machines according to specifications and ensure proper functioning
- Monitor machines during operation to detect any malfunctions or issues
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine problems
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret drawings/blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
