We are currently seeking skilled service technician(s) to join our service team.
Ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical background, with an excellent understanding of building systems. Able to review service repairs at site and come up with solutions. Candidates must be comfortable working on both service and on retrofit-specialty projects. We are seeking someone with the ability to clearly find recommendations, properly diagnosis mechanical equipment including cooling towers, boilers, tankless water heaters, pumps, sump pumps, and other institutional/ commercial plumbing systems. Attention to detail for proper note taking, identifying equipment and materials preparation is key. We will train the right person if you are able to demonstrate a desire to learn and grow.
To be considered for an opportunity, you must:
- possess theoretical and practical knowledge of current plumbing codes
- Identify heating systems and components, and diagnosis mechanical systems in commercial buildings
- repair and maintain mechanical systems. With the knowledge to provide proper mechanical recommendations on equipment service intervals
- ability to work on both residential & commercial, specialty & service retrofit projects
- ability to work with plumbing tools and equipment
- communicate clearly between office teams and field teams. Special attention to clients needs and client requests. Provide clear feedback from client at site(s) to office for client requests
- possess a red seal qualification in plumbing
- possess a valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
- own basic plumbing tools. Company power tools are provided.*
- Willing to work on-call schedule (once a week every 6 weeks)
- Ability to use mobile- app technology for tracking and updating project files
- *Cross connection ticket is an asset but not mandatory
