Join our passionate team and help us in our mission to provide excellent patient care to the Guelph community! We provide medical and surgical care for patients with a range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration.
Your responsibilities will include participating in all functions of the clinic (training provided) including patient testing (visual acuity, pressure, OCT, visual field, etc), taking patient histories, assisting the physicians during patient examinations, preparing patients for in-clinic procedures, and administrative work. Our ideal team member would have strong attention to detail, be eager to learn, be curious and thrive in a fast-paced environment. It is essential that you are personable, patient, and caring, as we treat many seniors with mobility, mental health, and communication challenges.
Our team strives to improve continually to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our staff and patients. We believe strongly in a collaborative workplace incorporating respect, team-building and continuing education as some of our core values.
Must be able to work at least 3 full clinic days per week. Students seeking summer or temporary employment will not be considered.
We look forward to hearing from you and how you would be a good fit for our team!
The Guelph Eye MD Clinic celebrates a diverse workplace and strongly encourages people of colour, LGBTQ+ individuals, Indigenous people, people with disabilities, members of ethnic minorities, and foreign-born residents to apply.
